55.1 The resubmitted application by Gladman Developments to build up to 60 dwellings on land between Eldon Road and Furzedown Road would be determined by the Southern Area Planning Committee at its meeting on 25 April 2017. If able, Cllr Harwood would attend and comment that there had been no material change to the previous application, no meaningful public consultation had taken place and the need for this number of dwellings was not supported by our own evidence as established in the preparation of our Neighbourhood Development Plan.
